English and French
The toggle, the Quebec default, and the emails.
Foyer works in English and French: the portal, your own screens, the website, the legal pages and every email.
Choosing
The EN | FR switch sits at the top of every screen and is remembered for a year on that device. A signed in person’s choice is also kept on their record, so their emails follow it wherever they sign in.
The default
With no choice made, a renter or team member starts in the language of your province: French for Quebec, English elsewhere. A visitor to the website with a French browser sees French.
What stays as written
Names, addresses and anything a person typed appear as they typed it. The letter to the landlord is written in the language of the renter’s answers.
