Two-step verification
A code from your phone after your password, and what to do if you lose the phone.
Two-step verification asks for a six digit code from an authenticator app at every sign in, after your password. If your password ever leaks, your clients’ documents stay closed.
Turning it on
Under Settings, Security, choose Turn on. Scan the code with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password or Authy, or type the key by hand, then enter the six digit code the app shows. From then on, signing in asks for the current code.
Turning it off
On the same tab, Turn off. Your password alone opens the account again.
A lost phone
Write to support@getfoyernow.com from the email address on your account. After checking with you, the platform administrator resets it, and you can enrol a new phone.
Who opened what
Settings, Access log lists each open of a document, the application or the letter, across your clients or one client at a time: by whom, when, including any access by Foyer’s administrator. Renters see the same list for their own file on their Account page.
Other protections
Sessions end after 15 minutes without activity. A sign in from a new device or address emails you at once. Documents are encrypted at rest and every file is served through a short lived private link.
